We are so happy to be back to work after the long period of lockdown! The feedback from all our clients is how safe they feel when visiting the salon, and that is because our team worked so hard to prepare for reopening! 

We have introduced several infection control measures as recommended by the Health Inspectorate of Wales to ensure everyone’s safety. We are fully compliant with all requirements, including social distancing, infection prevention & control, and have the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) for all treatments. We would like to take this opportunity to keep you informed of our progressive “Safety and Sterilisation Protocols” which will give you confidence that your safety and protection are our priority.

The measures we have put in place ensure that everyone in the salon, both staff and clients, are kept as safe as possible. Here is a step by step breakdown from booking your appointment, through to leaving the salon.

Booking:

After making your appointment, you will receive a “pre-visit screening questionnaire” via text message, which you should complete and return when making your pre-payment online. We advise that you use the online booking system for all appointments. This system allows you to manage your appointment easily (should you need to cancel or reschedule) and makes it simple to make your next booking too.

Pre-appointment:

If you, or any member of your household, is displaying any symptoms of COVID-19, or if you are required to self-quarantine (for example due to travel), please contact the salon to reschedule your appointment. 

When you arrive at the salon, please send us a text message, and then wait outside, or in your car. When we are ready for your treatment, we will call you into the salon area. Before entering the salon, you will need to put on a mask (or other face covering) and sanitise your hands (we have sanitiser available for your use). We will also be carrying out temperature checks on all clients.

During your appointment:

  • All of our staff members will be in full PPE, consisting of a disposable gown, face shield and face mask. 
  • There will only be a limited number of clients receiving treatments within the salon at the same time as your appointment to ensure we maintain social distancing recommendations. 
  • We have hand sanitiser available for you to use at any time whilst in the salon. 
  • For nail treatments, we have Perspex screens in place, with a cut-out area to place your hands through.
  • Unfortunately, we will not be able to have children in attendance while you are receiving your treatment to limit the number of people in the salon.

After your treatment:

Payments should be pre-paid where possible, or made by card in the salon.

We have allocated time buffers between appointments to enable enhanced cleaning in treatment rooms and on ‘high touch’ areas, and we use medical grade sterilisation equipment to clean our consumables and the air in the salon.
